Mickey Rourke needs 9 1/2 weeks of dental work and a haircut – but he’s working again!
He actually looks good in this mugshot compared to the Golden Globes the other night. I have heard good things about this new movie called The Wrestler, which seems appropriate. He is a wrestler now… right? I haven’t even seen him make any cameos in a Lifetime movie or even Scrubs.
The guy has been in quite a few movies but good lord did the plastic surgery ferry cut him short. I thought for a second that Ledger had risen from the grave still dressed as the joker.
All seriousness, this is pretty cool since he hasn’t done much since the late 80’s. Last I heard he and Van Damme had a small apartment in LA working odd jobs splitting time between Target and…no wait I said all seriousness, sorry.
With movies like Diner, The Outsiders, and his triumphant performance in 9 1/2 weeks on his resume, this heap of hair is actually in the limelight again and I’m glad.
I wasn’t a big fan of his but to see someone get beat down by Hollywood and life and come back like this, amazing. According to the article he might be cast as the bad guy in the Iron Man sequel. Way to go Mick !

Kansas, the Wrestler was awesome. It is a slow movie that is heavy on acting, but if you like that type of movie, and I do, you will love the Wrestler. I highly recommend it.
