Jon and Kate…plus a divorce attorney…maybe
Damn this is getting good! If you haven’t seen in every grocery store aisle by now, the parents of the Gosselin clan are having some issues. Jon and Kate Gosselin are in the middle of a nasty story of Jon spending a late evening with a 23 year old woman. He denies it as nothing more than a friendship…riiight.
Kate is turning into a money hungry, wench and the show is completely “staged” according to her sister in law in recent blogs. The fact of the matter, the Gosselins are doing well because of the show. The show makes them a lot of money and tons of freebies. Their new house is around $1.1 million compared to the last house which was in the 200’s…hmmm.
I do think the media is having a blast with this story but who can blame them. The family agreed to become public and have their lives exposed on national television and this is fishbait for tabloids. On the premiere last night Jon made an insightful comment, he said one day his “kids will google him and he needs to have an explanation”. Well spoken, sad, and true rolled up into one.
I do have empathy for the couple for getting themselves into this mess based on pure naivety. Naive to the fact that being on TV will ruin you if you make one false move. This show is no longer about the kids and that’s the sad truth as it’s now a saga of the two adults who happen to have ten kids.
The show might become more popular for the wrong reasons, but hey…that’s entertainment !
