Dear Smokers – Your butts stink and if you litter with them you suck
Cigarette Butts are Litter
This is an open rant to people who throw their cigarette butts out the window of their cars, or who drop them on the ground. You suck!
It is that simple, if you do not possess the common courtesy to keep your trash to yourself then by all means feel free to throw yourself out the car window, or throw yourself in the trash. You throw the butts out because they stink, or you do not have anywhere in your car to put them, well those excuses are bullshit.
The facts are simple, if you throw your empty water bottles on the street or throw your garbage out the window then you are a lost cause, and my rant will not make a difference to you. However, if you are a rational person who sees throwing trash out the window as a bad thing, but still throw your cigarette butt out of the window then please take a moment and consider the facts. Your cigarette butts are litter, and they cause a real nuisance for anyone who has to pick up your trash.

This is a rant, I say that upfront so you know you may stop reading now, because it appears no one likes my rants, and I do not care. It makes me feel better when I say stuff out loud, so that is what I am doing, well sorda, I am writing it down in total silence, but it feels similar to me for some odd reason.
Ok, here I go. USE YOUR DAMN TURN SIGNAL YOU SELF ABSORBED LAZY BASTARD. I swear by all that is holy you will not break your turn signal by using it, you will not run your battery down, you will not hurt your gas mileage and you might just save your own life.
Turn signals are awesome things. Turn signals let other drivers know that you are planning on changing course, and they let other drivers know that you are courteous and most importantly (in my opinion) it allows the other drivers to take appropriate steps to avoid a collision with YOU.
Look I considered using a bunch of statistics to help you understand how using your turn signal is a smart thing to do, but I decided to just cut to the chase. When you turn without using your turn signal you look like an idiot. People view you as either ignorant, reckless or arrogant, if either one of those terms makes you happy then by all means keep being a jerk, but in the spirit of just plain old kindness would you please be considerate of others and try just for a week to use your turn signal every time, and you may find it is not that difficult, and other drivers will be safer for it.
